A reference class pure silver speaker cable engineered for the world’s finest audio systems.

Asimi uses very high purity OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) silver conductors. The OCC process is named after professor Atsumi Ohno, who in the late 1970s, discovered that by heating the drawing mould to a higher temperature than the molten copper you intend to cast, then cooling it soon after, the result is one long, high purity (99.99997%) metal crystal. Criticism of silver cables as generally ‘bright’ are in fact the result of impurities and grain in the inferior conductors used.

The Asimi’s high-purity monocrystal conductors are arranged in a complex multi-stranded layout, with each cable leg composed of 3 pairs of solid conductors each of different diameter, totalling 3.5mm² – an unusually high figure, given the cost of this purity of silver.
In most silver cables, the conductor size is compromised to reduce cost –but which explains why some critics suggest silver cables offer the listener very sweet highs but no weight or authority at low frequencies. That’s certainly not true of the Asimi, with several reviewers commenting on the sense of physical presence conveyed.

Our focus was also on the coating that insulates and protects the silver. The Asimi has these conductors enveloped in our microporous Teflon dielectric. This new air-spaced material improves on the performance of the best solid Teflon or PTFE (Teflon™) insulators, by providing a 30% greater signal velocity and superior integrity, particularly in high frequency delivery. This is achieved because the new material has a dielectric constant of around 1.5 (the lower the number the better), significantly better than the 2.1 typically achieved by the PTFE (Teflon™) insulators which were previously the best available in these applications.

This obsessive attention to detail – and the combination of materials & assembly methods which was only finalised after exhaustive testing – produces a cable which HiFi World’s reviewer described as‘ the best he’d ever heard’ and HiFi Plus summarised as ‘one of the very, very best. ’ Our goal to make cables which have no discernable character or sound of their own, which would in itself be a form of distortion – Asimi is engineered to ‘disappear’ in your system, conveying the performance of your equipment with total transparency. It should be noted though that Asimi requires a ‘burn-in’ period during which the sound will continue to improve.

Our most advanced copper speaker cable, available as a conventional stereo pair, 2–4 configuration or 4–4 version suitable for biwiring. The new generation Mavros now features our Grun Coherent Earthing System.

 

A superior speaker cable suitable for ‘high-end’ audio systems.

Mavros uses very high purity OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) copper conductors. The four separate conductors are then wrapped in cotton, an additional layer paper, then wraps the assembly in PVC and shrouds it in an outer black cotton sleeve.

In the bi-wire 2–2 and 2–4 configurations, two additional solid conductors are dedicated to the mid/high frequencies, facilitating a more stable and open stereo image.

All cables lose some of the audio signal or add their own colouration. Ascent is engineered to reduce this signal loss to extremely low levels, making it the ideal partner for full-range wide bandwith loudspeakers.

 

A Sophisticated speaker cable offering a true taste of ‘high-end ’ performance for discerning audiophiles.

Ascent is the first speaker cable in our product hierarchy to use OCC (Ohno Continous Casting) copper connectors with a total 3.5mm² diameter. The increased conductor cross-section gives superior low-frequency performance in comparison to Ascent 2.0. These ultra high purity ‘6N’ (99.99997% purity) conductors are extremely transparent to the signal being passed, their mono-crystal structure ensuring minimum signal loss. For the dielectric, we use a high-efficiency PTFE (Teflon™) which again imposes virtually no signal degradation.

In conjunction with our cold-weld, wideband Transpose connectors, which give a superior connection to conventional solder or screw fixing, the result is a cable with little discernable character which allows your system to convey a level of detail, speed and dynamics which might well surprise you.

Atlas Hyper 2.0 speaker cables are engineered with neutrality, speed and a wide dynamic range as primary design objectives.

Hyper 2.0 speaker cables feature very high purity (99.9999%) OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) 2.0mm² conductors with an advanced PTFE (Teflon™) dielectric. It’s a combination most unusual at this price point, and it means the cable offers an exceptional performance which is well suited to considerably more expensive systems than its price tag might suggest. The increased diameter conductors on the Hyper 2.0 offer improved bass performance over the 1.5 version.

The conductor quality and high-efficiency dielectric allow Hype to reveal more of the performance level your equipment is capable of, being fast and dynamic without suffering the ruthlessly analytical character sometimes mistaken for additional ‘detail,’ but which is ultimately fatiguing. Element 1.25

Element 1.25 is an ideal entry level speaker cable.

 

Element is well suited as an upgrade for high quality compact systems or for rear channel speakers in a 5.1 set-up.

Hyper 2.0 speaker cables feature very high purity (99.9999%) OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) The Atlas Element 1.25 contains 1.25mm² of stranded OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) contained in a high density polyethylene dielectric (insulation layer), unusual at this price point where PVC is much more common. Low quality dielectrics such as PVC typically degrade the music signal by imposing a characteristic blurring on the sound. The Element 1.25 may be specified in White or Black finish, and can be terminated with Z-plugs or spades.

Equator2.0

Equator 2.0 offers an essentially neutral performance with none of the exaggerated treble detail frequently found at this price point.

 

Equator is well suited as an upgrade for mid-level or older audio systems in need of a little ‘TLC.’

Atlas Equator 2.0 is a 2mm² cable using OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) conductors contained in a high-density PEF dielectric (insulation layer) that’s far more efficient than PVC or polyethylene. The superior dielectric offers both a better measured performance and an audible improvement in dynamics. The core assemblies are contained in a cotton yarn in order to reduce microphony and the outer sheath is in a pearl white finish. Termination is with Z-plugs or our cold-weld high quality OFC spades.

Element 2.0
